Play an RPG. Any one will do. I recommend Chrono Trigger and FF VII and IX or any of the Suikodens.

We're talking about killing time. The Mad Jackyl mentioned play an RPG to kill some time.
I suggest just watch the beginning to any of these new RPG's. Many of them are very long to get into the game. Therefore, watching the beginning to an RPG would be a good way to kill time.
Now, Stryder, you suggest a good way to kill time instead of just lurking around psetering people.

Don't play Shining Tears. It sucks bigtime. I'd reccomend WorldOf Warcraft. That's a fabulous timewaster. Don't be tempted by FFXI Online, it's awful. Complete garbage.

While we're on the subject, Wild Arms is one of the best, most overlooked RPGs for the PSOne. Don't play Wild Arms 2 or 3. They really weren't great.

The Soldier, do you play Warhammer? I used to a while back. Was fun, but damn expensive. And the rules were a bit hard at first... Then I just stopped caring about the whole thing.
Anyway, Warhammer is a pretty good choise to spend time. Paint your minis and plan your lists etc. Takes time.

I knew a few people who used to play with those things in primary school.
Total waste of money!

I do it just for the model painting. I like paying attention to detail and that acts as a good outlet. You could go around killing pigeons. Just throw a bunch of rice and/or alka-seltzer on the streets. The pigeons eat it, and bam! Their stomachs explode.
