So as some of you know there were 2 Metal Gear REX figures released last year. One was by Three A toys and was huge, over 14" tall. I thought it was too big and after seeing some reviews I decided to pass on it. Option 2 was a much smaller REX model by Kotobukiya. But it comes unpainted and you have to assemble it from over 600 pieces. In December I got lucky and found someone Thailand who is a real pro at models. I got the model on eBay and 3 weeks later I have the perfect REX! The paint job is superior to what I saw on giant Three A figure and the added rust look makes REX look badass!

More photos below. As you can see it goes perfect with the McFarlane RAY. In April Kotobukiya will release the MGS4 RAY model. I plan to go the same route to get that. Attachments:

I paid $150. The kit retailed for about $80. And yes, that is Liquid.
