I don't think it will make much of a difference.(I will be hated by people other than TBOL and Otty for that)

It won't make much a difference huh? I'll go easy on you in the future. Obviously you're new with Metal Gear Solid.
Nothing wrong with that though, so don't start wining...

I have no ps2 so there isn't much I can do about being somewhat new to MG.

Have you read the screenplay to Sons of Liberty? If not, check out junkerhq.net and you'll find it.

Dude, reading a script of a MG game without playing it is just stupid. You miss the entire experience...
I'm sorry, but saying you've only read the script makes it all the more clear you don't know sh*t about Metal Gear.

Foxid's right. That's like saying you're an expert on Star Wars if all you did was read the scripts. You really need to play them al to be an expert.

I intend to play them I lack a ps2 but will get one.I've watched a video of somebody playing throught Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater they did it perfect so it seemed like a movie.I forget where it is if I knew I would post a link to it.So I know pretty much what happens.I also never said I was an expert.

No it was playedso that it even the gameplay seemed rather movie- like. They never used a ration, they blanked out the lifebar and item and weapon select somehow so it looked more realistic. It was pretty amazingly done.

It depends what your calling yourself an expert in.
in TBOL's case his expertise is story.

The series needs Kojima, plain and simple. Will it wither and die without him? Probably not. It'll probably be a long, slow, painful death as more and more fans leave until only the die-hard, gung-ho, no sense fans are the only ones left, and all the dignity and elegance of the series is long gone. I just don't think anyone else has Kojima's vision. Personally, if he's really sick of making MG games, I wish he'd step down. I'd rather have less MG games, but they are all incredible, than tons of them, but everything past MGS3 is just plain awful. Better to end things with a bang than a whimper, I say.
