I think it is his baby, not Olga's. Otacon looks like he has taken an obbsession in The Matrix, which is to be expected. When I first saw Big Boss I kept doing the close-up thing, I was wondering how the hell it could be him...it could be Solidus.

No, it can't be Solidus because his eyepatch is on the wrong side. And how could I be so dumb to not even notice Noami!
I'm not really suprised Otacon is back. Well I knew he would come back because Solid Snake and Otacon are a team, but I'm still happy he's in MGS4! ;D

I think Otacon is the guy with the monacle. And Raiden was going off to save Olga's baby at the end of MGS2, so I don't think there would be any reason for him to hold his.

Seriously, people, you believe that's Big Boss?  Kojima is not stupid to take the MG series to this extremes, what do you think MGS3 was for? Besides, EVEN IF that was Big Boss, you really think Hideo would just give him away on the first picture released. I think not. That's someone else. |

Who knows? He looks a lot like Big Boss, so it's easy to jump to that conclusion. For now it's just a mystery man.

It could be anyone, he looks burnt up, so maybe BB but I don't know. I am going to try and avoid any spoilers for this game. Oh, but I heard a rumour from some wackjob that BB was killed and someone took his place but put the eye patch on the wrong eye. Although it sounds silly, I think they where mixxing it up with another story with a guy with an eye-patch. Meh.

I was about to post this in the E3 MG thread, but since this said MGS4 characters its proper to be posted here. The minute I saw the eye patched character in the MGS4 poster it reminded me of Big Boss. I have one of the pages in the Mr Shinkawa's MG artbook wich is Big Boss's sketchs.
