OK, something always bothered me about Snake fighing Fox in Metal Gear Solid. They fight hand to hand and Snake beats him. Now, when you look at the end of the game, Fox is taking on REX! I mean, he help up REX's leg to save Snake, he dodged boolets in mid air, leaped like 30 feet in the air, and not to mention was still alive after REX steped on him (the first time).
So, how the hell does Snake's punches and kicks hurt him in a hand to hand fight? That makes no sense. That exoskeleton withstood most of REX's attacks, how can mere punches do damage?

Fox let him win?
I guess that would be the only logical explination.

It had to be Fox letting Snake win. Even though Snake is no normal human, REX is a f...cking several ton tank!

Hmmm.....I guess when Fox was fighting Snake, he was sane. Nothing happening in that exoskeleton. Then he started banging his head on the ground. Maybe there's some kind of adrenaline booster? And plus, instead of a sword, he had a gun for an arm. That is kick ass.

Not the point here. It took a giant meacha 40 foot, 500 ton mecha armed with missiles, machine guns, and laser to defeat Fox. How can ANY man do it hand to hand? Think about it, it makes no sense. Snake could take a running kick at Fox and it technically would not fase him given his battle with REX. It just doesn't make sense.

They both wanted a clean fight I guess, hand to hand. Just like they did in MG2:SS.

Okay, Whoa whoa, When Snake fought Fox, he defeated him but didn't kill him. That room where they fought was considerably tight spaces with not alot of major maneuverablility. In the REX hangar, lots of room, 500 ton huge son of a bitch, crazy cyborg with gun arm, and uhhhh....yeah.

It would make sense if when they fought hand to hand he edited himself (or the suit or whatever) to have the strength of a human.

Yeah, that would make sense. I just wish they made that clear in the game itself.
