Okay, I was doing some searching on the titles of the expansions for the MGS games. Here it is.
Integral (from MGS1 expansion) means an important part of something.
Substance (from MGS2 expansion means) means form or matter. So the integral parts from the MGS1 expansion are taking form
Subsistence (upcoming MGS3 expansion) means life or maintaining life. The substances from MGS2 are taking life.
I think this, like Meme, Gene, Scene, Sense, describes the evolution of the expansion packs.
MGS1 Expansion pack. Had the game and V.R. missions, exept is on and old system and doesn't have much form.
MGS2 Expansion pack. Put the stuff from MGS1 expansion pack together to make it look real, but lacked life (V.R. Not real)
MGS3 Expansion pack. Puts the stuff from MGS1 and MGS2 together and gives life to it. The life, I think, is the online multiplayer, since your playing against real players, not CPU's or some physics engine.
