Finally remembered to ask the dude about what Flynn said to him. This is what he said:

MadJackyl16: Regarding Kojima possibly not directing.
SiR VeGeTa 420: Ah
SiR VeGeTa 420: Pretty much all i was told was kojima wouldnt be in direct directorial control and would leave that to his team
SiR VeGeTa 420: but would have basic control for some initial things
MadJackyl16: I wish I could further confirm this with Quinn.

SiR VeGeTa 420: i was just discussing subsistance with him before it came out, and we got onto the secret theater thing
SiR VeGeTa 420: then we just started talkijng about how kojima came up with them
SiR VeGeTa 420: then we just kept talking about kojima, lol

Im sorry, but I wont believe him. It's just that I dont believe in rumors until there is some official announcements.

It's not exactly a rumor in the true sense of the meaning when you break it down; Quinn didn't hear this as a rumor is what I mean. The next trailer for MGS4 will hopefully clear up one way or the other for us. Or maybe not?
