Let’s consolidate all the flaws in Metal Gear!

Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake:

•Petrovich referenced the events of Outer Heaven as taken place 3 years ago. Yet the Outer Heaven incident is officially set in 1995 and the Zanzibar Land mission is in late 1999 (December 24!).
•Big Boss never reveals that he is Snake’s father in the first 2 games yet in MGS the events of Zanzibar Land are referenced as if Snake new that Big Boss was his father at the time.

Metal Gear Solid:

•The fight with the Cyborg Ninja Gray Fox made very little sense. At the end of the game Gray Fox was able to hold the leg of giant walking tank with ONE HAND!!! And even then it took a lot from REX to actually kill Fox in that suit. Yet simple punches and kicks from Snake managed to defeat him. Fox doesn’t sweat a kick from a 500 ton mecha but a one from Solid Snake hurts him... ok...


Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons Of Liberty:

•Liquid said that Big Boss was in his late 50’s when the created his clones. The event in question is set in 1972 (confirmed with MGS3). However, in MGS3 (set in 1964) Big Boss looks rather young, in his 30’s.

Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear Solid 3:

•Why does every boss character explode after you beat them?!

Wasn't the MGS3 exploding boss thing explained already? Wasn't it something like, they got some bomb implanted in them during the WW2 incase they got captured so that they could kill themselves before they would've been interrogated?

I think you find out about the explosion thing in a codec convo with EVA. Not sure where I heard it, but I do remember a conversation mentioning what you're talking about.

In an interview with HK, it said he added the explosions to be similar to the Japanese versions of Power Rangers, where the bosses/main baddie always explodes at the end.

This was taken out of EGM.

I think this topic is pointless.

I rung the Major after I killed the End (When you can Kill him before the boss fight) and Snake angrily asks him why the Cobras keep exploding, and he tells you about the internal explosive devices they have if captured or killed behind enemy lines.

Metal Gear:

In the manual Big Boss is seen wearing the eye patch on the wrong side.


Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater:

Big Boss leaves all of his sky diving equipment on the ground while Major Zero specifically warned him not to leave any evidence that could proof the U.S. Military has set foot on Russia. Almost all the equipment Big Boss had with him had U.S. Military inscriptions on it.

In MGS.......If the DARPA Chief is a prisoner....why does he have a LV. 1 card key? And Baker too. I know they had a rebellion, but wouldn't they completely search them so they wouldn't get out? I know that stuff about DARPA being Decoy Octopus but still. They don't just hand it over.
