When I was young (well, I'm still young, but younger, like 5 years ago), I went to a friend and he was just finishing the first MGS on PS1. I saw the REX battle, and was quite impressed. He told me more about the game. Later that year I met another guy who had the game for PC, the Integral version. I borrowed it from him, and played through the game. I loved it. Just after that MGS2 came out, and I read the review in my favorite game-mag, but they fired the game off. So I was quite disappointed and didn't get a PS2 to play the game. Then, a year later, I played MGS2 at a friend's, and I actually liked it, even the Raiden parts. I really enjoyed it. Then the 2003 E3 arrived, and I saw the first MGS3 trailer and I was sold. I got a PS2 with Substance, played it for hours and hours straight. And that's about the time I arrived on the forum here, and the rest is history.
