No hard feelings but it seems like u either don't belive in God or u don't know his powers. There were ppl like her who sufferd more than she did and yet they got blessed and healed after so many years wich every one lost hope. This is something that need to be left for God to worry about, humans like her don't take nobodies spot in this world let them live till there final day come naturaly, its not right to force them to go.Keeping her or letting her go is not for me or u to decide, just cuz she can't think that don't mean she don't have no rights to live anymore. Lets put an end to this discussion cuz its all done and over with.

I don't believe in God or any higher power, but I respect your beliefs. However, I think no one can convince me what you're saying is true. But it's good you believe in it.
So, as a non-believer, my opinion is that nothing could have brought Terri back to a life worth living. If I was Terri, I would have wanted to be put to sleep.
That is, If I could THINK still. Terri didn't even know she was alive.
In this argument, I agree with TheSoldier.

Unfortunatly this argument will essentially go nowhere, because it all comes down to personal beliefs. There are those here that seem to respect the diginity of human life, and there are those that seem to put specific definitions on what is considered human life. My argument previously is that this same kind of mentality caries over to abortion as well, becuase typically those who support abortion view a living child as no more than a fetus, just as most of those who supported Terri's death viewed her as not alive and no more than a bunch of organs. Its an issue that will continue to come back again and again, and my question is how far will it eventually go and when will it ever stop? The concept of human life has been considerablly redefined for the last few decades, and it seems like it is all coming down to what people deem convient as opposed to what is considered responsible. These are my own views and it seems like many in this thread dont seem to support them, and that is fine. Interesting thread non the less.

Well put, Plissken. Essentially, it all comes down to what you believe. I'm siding with Soldier on this one, and despite what you may think that means, I do believe in God. However, none of us are going to change each others' minds on such a deeply personaly issue on here. It's good to see that it can be discussed without resorting to name calling and petty insults, though.

Thanks for respecting each others opinions, we all show it that we are grown ups not bunch of kids running around with PCs. There is an old saying wich it goes like this" When a Tree grows up and loses its softness, it will take a shape and will never change."
