Hehehe: this is why most people use Windows instead of a Mac. It's the length/volume of the start-up sound that does the trick. Watch the reactions of all the people in the library when someone first starts up his Windows Laptop and a few secs later someone is starting up his Mac. ;D www.muchosucko.com/video-annoyingmacstartup.html

Look, yes, i'll admit that loading up Mac does take a LONG FREAKING TIME, 5 YEARS!! And if you mute the computer prior to turning it off, the sound won't be a bother when booting up.
AND XP?! OMG 10 YEARS TO LOAD!
And the Mac OS... SUPERIOR! Great! Never once a problem! Windows? BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH CRAP!

Windows might have compatibility on it's side, but Mac OS X is the superior system. It's a lot more efficient, and I've never encountered a problem when I use it. Windows has so many problems that people don't even bother sending error reports anymore.

Don't make such wide generalizations. Mac used to play fewer games, but there's a company out there now which is making a LOT of games compatible with Mac OS X. And if worse comes to worse, just download a Windows emulator and play your games. The fact of the matter is, if you're doing something with graphic design, Mac is the way to go. You'll never find a PC in a TV editing room.

If it wasn't for Macintosh, most the movies nowadays would be beyond belief so much harder to do. I mean, come on, Final Cut Pro.
But yeah, i've noticed people bash mac cause certain games cant play on it, but nowadays, most games are pc/mac compatible.
PLUS! Bible truth! Microsoft used a PowerMac G5 to MAKE THE XBOX 360!

Well, I'm not saying switch. I like Windows too (when it doesnt crash on my 20,003 times), it has its good little things, but give Mac a chance. That's all i'm saying.

I'm getting more used to Mac over the years, I have on at work. We don't really do much with it, only for storing data. The only problem I come across every time is that the file system sucks. Whenever I try to put a document in another map it has to go from window to window. It's not like My Documents in Windows where you have a side bar with all the maps you have, where you can easily click on the file and drag it to the map you wish.
It's a little confusing to explain, but I guess Econs the Mac'er knows what I mean.

No. Moving things around on Mac is so easy, especially with the sidebar that every window plays host to. You can put anything into that sidebar and drag wherewever you want.

So the sidebar is like a clipboard?

The Sidebar is a shortcut bar, kinda. Like the files in the sidebar now are there for my convenience so I can easily browse through stuff. But you can also move files on to it or whatever.
