We need to get MGF known to the whole wide world again, we have to kick ass like we did around 2002. ;D
I feel like MGF is slowly but certainly hiding back in it's shell. Almost every new member on this forum doesn't even post anymore. And I think were not getting as much visitors as we would used to. Can't we do something about this? Like spreading banners, emails and whatever more on other Metal Gear related or non related websites? I would like to discuss this.

Well, it's not like a website can have a street team... We can't order stickers and slap them up around other websites.
But a street team for a website sound pretty interesting...

when MGS subsistence comes out we can do like a clan or something but i think it will get bigger when subsistence comes out

The fact is, Metal Gear isn't big news anymore. Back in 2002 MGS was huge. Right now, nobody cares. And spamming on other boards isn't a good idea.
The only suggestion I can make is to find some big, non-MG related, affiliates. Essentially, ride on the back of a highly-visited juggernaut. That would be the best option now.
I am respnsible though. I haven't got the site up to date, that's my fault. And I won't waste your time by making any "I hope to do it soon" speeches.

I was kinda going with making a Metal Gear Internet Clan and promoting MGF through the online play Subsistence. But google bombing MGF sounds like a neat idea.

What kinds of modification? Here's an example, I modified this forum for a good Aeon Flux buddy of mine. aeonfluxtus.proboards2.comI added a shout box, centered everything, erased the PM messages next to the logo and placed it below the menu (if not logged in you see a 'log in' or 'register' link.), erased the forum jump which is very ugly, and I'm now busy adding more info in the Info Center. If you want I can do the same to this forum, it will take some time tough, but I wouldn't mind.  |

Wow that looks incredible for a proboards forum.
I always think there ugly. But that one is nice and compact and the colours a bright which is better because i dont really like the dark colours of this forum.
A shoutbox would be cool just for stuff not worthy of a topic.

A shoutbox would be cool just for stuff not worthy of a topic. Most people see it as a cool/dumb extra but it's really handy. It keeps away most of the spammers who post in the actual forum, it can be used as a chatbox, and like Anthony says you can just shout stuff in it that isn't even worthy for a thread/topic. |
