It's a piece of crap. Stick with XP. It's terrible, but it's the best we're gonna have.

Ahhh Vista! f...ck Vista. Vista sucks. I'll just stick with my XP and IE6, or get a Mac and use Safari, since it's the easiest to use, next to FireFox.

How can you say vista sucks?
Has anyone here actually tried the Betas?
I have and i can say its a great improvment on XP.
Download the LATEST beta and actually see for yourself if its sh*t or not.

Vista is asking for an unbelieveable amount of new sh*t you will need for your computer to actually just USE it. I heard it will need a new video card for some dumb reason

Yes. And I don't like Vista either. Not only do I think that it's cumbersome to work with, but I'll have to get a new computer too. And this one cost way too much.

I did. It's terrible. Microsoft has this thing that they do where they take a lot of shortcuts because they're lazy bastards. This results in higher system requirements, more bugs, more vulnerability to viruses and a terrible performance in comparison to the other operating systems.

You dont have to get a new pc or a new video card.
Unless your computer is a really old piece of sh*t.
Im using a P4 1.6ghz and a ATI Radeon 9600 and i can run Vista with no problems using the AREO video effects on full.

No offense Eco and Anthony, but you both have a tendacy towards Apple and Microsoft fanboyism respectively. The things you say about either company should be taken with a grain of salt.

Hey, at least 10.5 doesn't need a video card that was specificly made to run DirectX9.

Oh i hate Microsoft! The only thing that i like about Microsoft is windows. Other than that they can go to hell especially the XBOX team. Don't get me started on the ZUNE. My point in this whole thing is that people are making judgments on Vista when they have never used it and if they have used it, it was probably and old release. Also how about you actually research the requirements of Vista before you start saying your going to need a whole new system. www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/capable.mspxAnd regarding that video card comment, no you don't need a new video card most video cards will do just fine I'm using a ATI Radeon 9600 and it works perfectly fine with the new visuals. And those with crappier video cards than that don't have to use the new visuals they can select to use the alternate visuals. Download Vista RC1 and tell me what you think. On another note i like most Apple products.... just not there OS. EDIT: www.winsupersite.com/Go there is a great website on Windows and Windows products. Read some of the recent articles. The guy isn't a Microsoft fanboy, he actually criticizes Microsoft half the time.
