Ok, who here is an artist?! I mean one that could actually stick to a schedule and have something up on time? I'm looking to start a webcomic but I realized that I'm just a writer and not a artist. So if anybody here is one, or knows one, please tell a brother!

Well, I’m an artist. But ummm... a web comic. As in free? So I would have to work my ass off, drawing panels, to stick to your schedule for a non-profit project?
Tempting... but I’ll pass. LOL

Yeah, I thought about making a webcomic once. You probably lose alot of sleep maintaining it.

Yeah, but most other webcomics have two or three people working together maintaining the website and making sure a comic is open for the hungry intarwebz people to lulz at. Except Scott Ramsoomair does everything by himself. Art, website maintenence, everything I think.

Sorry dude, never been much of a fan of drawing someone else’s projects. The fact is the artist in this case gets the short end of the stick. ‘Cause writer/director is not nearly as big of a deal in a comic book format as in traditional writing. And yet that would be the number one spotlight since it would be YOUR project. Maintenance... that’s a really a joke and hardly that much actual time-consuming work. Artist, on the other hand, has to do the whole dang thing, panel after panel. That’s way too much work for a behind-the-scenes guy. If I was going to spend hours each day working on panels and making the whole thing come alive, it would be something that I write and direct, not someone else.
Besides, you haven’t even discussed what it is about. Not another fan Metal Gear, is it?

No way, the only MG comic thats even passable is Last Days Of FoxHound. I'm not to big on the whole VG to comic thing, except for in the case of VGCats. More along the lines of TwoKinds or some of thoses other ones like it. I guess more of a manga. I have about three different stories that I'm looking into that I've written. Oh well, I didn't take all thoses art classes for nothing! Though my offer still stands to both you and Black Snake should you ever change your minds. I expect to have it up early next year, around march 1st. I hope to start the panels in mid-november. Doin the Jim Davis approach (hes the creator of Garfield) make your strip, large ones, at least three months in advance. I'm gonna go for at least four and a half months to account for my real life. So I guess that puts me at pre-pre-production. And I'm aware of the two pre's. FYI, expect catgirls. As many as I can actually fit in. Pheonix <3 catgirls.

I'll help you out with maintenence, and maybe directing and writing the dang thing. But as far as art goes, I can't help you. I don't have much artistic talent, no less am able to produce a comic, with color and on a computer in a timely schedule.

Sweet. I'll tell you when the website will need to start having work done so that we can collaberate on it. Right now I've scrapped the three stories I had and am starting from the beginning. Prewritting sucks, and yet its necessary. Thank God for spell check. I'm gonna go ahead with the drawing. Hoping to use photoshop for the coloring. Damn thing wont register. On a side note: do you have any problems with catgirls Black Snake?

Ah come on, catgirls are awesome! They got the ears and that tail....um....never mind. Perhaps we should get off the subject of catgirls.
