Oh man....I hate to say it but ive kind of gotten into a flamewar with some Microsoft asslicker on the YouTube video comments part about MGS4 being supposedly ported to the XBox360, I tell him it isnt possible the 360 cant handle the MGS4 engine and the 360 uses HD-DVD which doesnt have enough memory to fit the game into it, and he claims this and that about how GameSpot talking about it will happen that MGS4 will be ported, and OH MAN WTF im getting pissed I mean I dont mean to...I just got a job, ive always had a life, but this one mother f...cker has got me stumped I feel like I cant get across him...either he is stubborn or just retarded..or both OR he truly believes that this will happen, I tell him look how f...ckin crappy MGS2:SoL was on the XBox and then he says something like aww but it came to the XBox right? So its going to happen for the 360....GOD....if this kid lived on my block and I had an IP locator to find his exact address....id shoot him seriously (NAH JUST JOKING GUYS.....) Id go stab him instead he isnt worth wasting bullets, but anyway whats your take, come on fellow PS3 lovers (I mean im not a fanboy I like the 360 to but..) HELP ME OUT A BIT, give me some confidence here.

Facts, use them as you wish:
1. MGS4 has to be edited to fit on a double-layered Blu-Ray disk. So they would need multiple disks for the 360 and that's not likely to happen in this day and age. This isn't the PSone.
2. MGS4 is set to output in 1080p, Xbox 360 does support that output.
3. There is no official word, and never has been, that there will ever be a 360 port.
4. Sony is running PS3 ads with MGS4 footage stated as "exclusive".
5. Japan no-likey the 360.

Lost Odysse used four discs. That was a 360 game. Not defending the 360 fanboys though, just saying. And it must've sting a little for all of those who said "we don't need more space" when that game came.

Thanks AG, I posted up that part in the comments section, apparently im not alone either there are other fellow PS3 supporters who posted up similiar responses as to yours and they are only backing up my statement. Thanks again.

There is no point in arguing though. An internet debate can never really be won or lost, it's all pointless. Don't waste your time. The bottom line is number 3 on the list is really all you need.

Haha yes in a sense you are right, technically if you never give in then there is no "winner or loser" to an internet argument, but I know I scratched his surface because he replied with saying sh*t like "Oh I see you come from a Metal Gear forum, you have no life I bet you've never even f...cked a girl" and so on and so forth...so thats how I know I won this argument, he cant come up with anything valid to say anymore. So yea this'll be the first and last flamewar i'll ever get into. I never have gotten into flamewars until I ran into this one idiot I just couldnt help it for once. Every other time it was just a healthy discussion and I would come out respecting the other person at the end of the screen because they came up with valid arguments but not this kid, he's just a f...ckin idiot.

Facts, use them as you wish: Ditto that. Like TheBrotherOfLight said, Lost Odyssey uses 4 DVD-Roms. I think you're confusing "set" with "being compatible with" and "can only work with that output". I'm sure that MGS4 will work with 1080p, but I pretty much doubt it's just GOING to work with 1080p. i mean, it would be pissing enough to literally ignore all of the PS3 owners that don't have an HD TV, but to ignore all of them who DON'T have an HD TV that can display 1080p? That's just silly. Not even LAIR did that. Can't argue with that. So did the RE 4 and Killer 7 for the GCN, and we all know what happened with those. And USA likeys it a lot. But, with THAT point, I can't argue either. BTW... 1) The X-Box 360 doesn't uses HD-DVDs (if it had, the war would still be going), it uses DVD-roms. 2) You DO know HD-DVDS and Blu-Rays are only 5 gig away from each other, right? And you also DO know HD-DVDs players, due to the fact they are (well... "were") build with more convenient technology were FAR faster and, therefore, could use the sapce better? |

Not 3 months from the release date they didn't. Yeah, so? That's beside the point. Nintendo advertizes those titles as exclusives too, and Capcom bit them in the arse and they ported them to PS2 (RE 4 to the PC too). THAT'S the point. |

Lets all calm down, children. Given the circumstances, it is not likely that MGS4 will be ported to the 360, but the possibilty still floats in the air.
