The Xbox standard resolution is high defenition and to see it at its best you must have a high defenition TV. But its still compatable with old tv's.

Yes, if you connect the 360 with an old tv the graphics can't show everything they got.

That's right. Buy right into their ploy. Trust me, the games won't look THAT MUCH different. The picture will be a bit charper, a bit cleaner, but all in all it won't be very different. Don't be a sucker.

Well they say by 2007 or 2008 (i forgot wich one) everyone will need a digital TV or those digital reciver boxes to view TV because from then on Standard Definition tv wont be broadcasting only Digital TV (High Definition).
So really buying a HD TV is enevitiable. Because for a decent Digital Reciver Box the ones that have all the features costs inexcess of $400 so your better off getting HD TV.
Oh and besides that they predict that HDTV prices will drop so buying one will be much much cheaper then it is now.

Once again, you're buying into a bunch of crap. Who again says that? Could it be the companies that make the TVs? Trust me, in 2 years, I will still have the same TV I have, and I will still see everything just fine. HDTV prices will drop, but it will take a while for it to be so cheap that any Joe Schmo can buy one. TV networks will not screw themselves out of hundreds of thousands of viewers by exclusively broadcasting everything in HDTV, thus making it unviewable to anyone else. Not for a long long time.

By long long time i hope your know its actually 3 years. In 2008 you WILL NEED a DIGITAL TV or DIGITAL SET TOP BOX connected to your old TV. Other wise you wont be able to watch ANYTHING!!! As much as i'd hate to prove you wrong here is a link www.hdpictures.com/hdtv.htmSames goes for Australia. So next time you start rambling about somthing do some research.

You will not NEED an HDTV. There are plenty of people out there who will still not be able to afford an HDTV or a reciever in 3 years. No network in their right minds would shut out viewers like that. Whereas it might be easier to get your hands on one you will not NEED one. And remember, when something is broadcast in DTV, it can still be viewed by a regular TV. Just like when something is broadcast in color, a black and white TV can still view it.

Your completely wrong again! It WILL be COMPULSARY for all channels to broadcast Digital TV and NO you cannot view digital TV on a standard TV WITHOUT a Digital Set top Box becasue of compatability issues!!! How can an old TV recive Digital signals when it was designed to recive an Analouge signals??
The prices range between 150-500+ for a Digital Set Top Box depending on the features of the sets.
There just not going to switch to digital over night they will advertise and explain the new technology to the viewers probly throughout 2007 up untill right before the complete transition to digital in 2008. Every network must be broadcasting digital by then and its not the networks choice it will be by a government act/law.
So your GOING TO HAVE TO buy a HDTV or Digital Set Top Box! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE!!! IF YOU STILL WANNA WATCH TV YOUR GONNA HAVE TO GET ONE!
I highly doubt that any network will host both HD digital and analouge channels because of the extra costs.
Like i said before DO SOME REASEARCH BEFORE YOU START RAMBLING!!!

There is no research to be done. Networks will continue to broadcast regular signals simultaneously for a lot longer to be on the safe side (they can do that, NFL games are simul-cast all the time). A lot of people out there remain in technical darkness for a long time and networks aren't going to try and lose ANY viewers. I guarantee networks will simultaneously broadcast both for the next 10 years. By then HDTVs will be in the houses of even the most technilogically blind. But until then, the networks will want to stay on the safe side so they don't lose they bags of money with eyes attatched they call viewers.

They might broadcast digital and analouge at the same time but that WONT go on for 10 YEARS! Be realistic its not cheap to host TV stations so why would networks broadcast in both digital and analouge for 10 YEARS!!!!!! 1 year yes 10 years no way.
I think YOUR technology blind! You cant come to grips that within 3-4 years Digital Tv will overide analouge TV!!
I refuse to stop this untill you know that analouge TV will be obsolete within 3 years, 4 years tops.
