Sony is going great compared to 360 so far in terms of games and it seems that they really improved the eyetoy!

on a technical level, xbox was better but PS2 had character even if both are just cash cows

Hmmm lets not pick and choose people I mean come on yes ofcourse these companies are putting out these such consoles to make bajillions of dollars but also we can turn it in our favor and see which consoles will entertain us more, truthfully I think both will.

Well, I'll prob' gonna get killed for this, but I'm buying the 360. Anyone know how much green it's gonna cost me?
And, so in the hope you don't all kill me, I'm also buying a PS3 when it comes out next year.

Not exactly true. Next-Generation is defined as a great advance and overall improvement over the current line of consoles.

The first "next-gen" system will be one that is a VR system, of which neither the 360 or PS3 is. Hey man they've tried that before way back when before the PS2 launch. It was a Virtual Boy from Nintendo. It was supposed to be portable VR. It sucked. It was bulky, it wasn't VR at all, it was just the same game, exept it was in red. They have tried this before, and also they are trying new stuff like motion games where what you do the character does, and just where you think it, the player does it. They are experimenting with alot of stuff, so next-gen will be sooner than Pepe thinks. Note: No offense Pepe. |

We're quite a while away from thought-activated gaming. The USAF just barely started tinkering with it for basic flight motion, nothing to ocomplicated. Basicaly, "turn left, turn right, higher, lower". It's still pretty far away. Possible within the next 15+ years, I would suspect.

In response to why I am wating my money in buying one:
Our property (4.89 acers) is on the market for 1.7 million. The house we are buying is 490-520 thousand. So, it's not like I am wasting my last penny to get the damn thing. So far, the only games I want on it are Call of Duty and Halo 3.

The main reason I'm getting 360 is for that system to play both Xbox and 360 games, scenes my old Xbox is modded and can't play LIVE games. Beside the old Xbox is now full of old school games and mostly away from Bill Gate's evilness. |
