Halo 2.5 is for Xbox 360. Why are you getting so mad? also why did it say I double posted when I don't double post anymore? Like I posted another thing when I was sure there was a post after mine... I never said you double-posted.

Microsoft has made a big mistake.
"The Father of Playstation is not impressed with Microsoft's new white Trojan Horse. The engineer behind the family of Playstation products attacked the new Xbox 360 in an interview with Japanese media outlet Impress PC Watch, rendering the system as an Xbox 1.5 rather than a next-generation version of the original. Kutaragi said that the Xbox 360 extends the product line as a general-purpose computer, while Sony has approached the Playstation 3 as a super computer. He added that only increasing resolution and graphic performance does not expand the game machine market.
The Sony camp has had a war of words against Microsoft after the Xbox 360 debuted. Last week, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America Kaz Hirai also adopted the label of Xbox 1.5 when referring to Microsoft's new system.
At the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo, Sony set out to dazzle attendees with technical demonstrations of its new Playstation 3 system, while Microsoft emphasized its new Xbox Live community to draw in users outside the current core demographic."
In other words, the new Xbox 360 is not really a big competition everyone thinks it is. It's still Sony's number one competitor, but the 360 has not really been improved as the PS3 was improved from the PS2. the thing is I think 360 is making a mistake releasing so soon, they haven't had the same development time as PS3, and the result is, not so next-gen graphics as the PS3. Sony has hype, and other companies know they can get their products to sell, and so Sony has allot more help with the PS3's development, and still have another year to finalize, while Microsoft is trying to get their 360 out to compete(Too soon, making an un-developed console), and take all of Sony's sales, it's all about comp, and being the better competitor...They're releasing it soon cause they want to do the same thing that happened with the PS2, an advantage in sales cause by the time PS3 comes out, 360 would've already sold alot of systems, but it was a big mistake on in my opinion too. Microsoft's next move is releasing HALO 3 at the same time as the PS3, hoping to attract more people towards the 360, but I highly doubt people will turn away from the PS3 just for one game. The truth is that Microsoft should've waited a bit longer, I believe they felt pressure with PS3's release and that's why they rushed the system.
Also, read this:
Gates Told Off Over Halo 3 Leak
Last week it was Bill Gates claiming that Halo 3 would be ready in Spring 2006, in time to ruin Sony's PS3 launch party; now Robbie Bach, Microsoft senior vice president and chief Xbox officer, has decided to cast some doubt over those comments.
In a cover story on Time magazine last week, Bill Gates in apparent ecstatic mood was asking readers to picture a day when ..."Sony launches, and they walk right into Halo 3." That story, tying in well with the XBox 360 hype at E3, must have generated a positive buzz regarding Microsoft's future console prospects.
Now that E3 has been and gone, the waters need some muddying and the first volunteer was Robbie Bach who in no uncertain terms decided to put the Microsoft Chairman in his place, The World's throne I assume, as he stated ..."with all respect to Bill, I don't run Bungie's studio, and neither does he. We'll work with the Bungie guys and let people know, when they have something to announce. So Bungie doesn't belong to the rest of the world which Mr. Gates apparently does run. "
What seems a bit more surprising is that Mr. Bach also stated that "We haven't announced anything on what Bungie is doing or where we're going with the future of the 'Halo' franchise"... Such a statement could raise some doubt as to whether Bungie is planning a clear sequel to Halo or some kind of spin-off while another possibility will be a quick numerical jump straight to "Halo 360."

Well go die!!
I always get the new nintendo and new Playstation! Wanna know why??
Both have lots of exclusive games! (oh and nintendo's consoles are cheaper than the rest)
Unlike the sh*tbox and sh*tbox 360 wich have crap like halo wich ends up coming out for PC anyway. And basicly all the games that the sh*tbox(xbox) have are out for PS2 anyway so why waste the money on a sh*tBOX.
