I got Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for PS2 and have played it on Xbox. It's a very solid game. Good graphics, gameplay is awesome, but can be difficult at times. The campaign doesn't really have much of a story, just America and China in a war with other factions caught in between. If your an FPS fan, check this one out.

Much like the original Quake, the reason most people buy the Battlefield games is for the astoundingly good multiplayer.

Yeah the mulitplayer kicks an abundant amount of ass. It's nothing like the PC version, don't get me wrong. It's more of and arcadey shooter on the consoles. But the multiplayer for Xbox Live/ PS2 Online is fun and awesome.

Let's make a Metal Gear mod for Battlefield 2. ;D
But seriously, tell me what's so special about Modern Combats? It's just the same as Battlefield 2.

....Not exeactly. Well since running Battlefield 2 on your PC demands ALOT of horsepower, some people aren't gonna bother getting a PC update if they have a PS2 or Xbox. They can just get it for a console. And it's not the same. It's for the consoles, which give the game an entirely different feel. And the single player campaign has a hotswapping feature to swap to any of your allies on the map, which gives way to faster transportation.
