So, let's see if we can make a list that we all can agree on. Nothing personal, let's try to be objective. What games truly do deserve to be in that list? Naturally, Metal Gear Solid and Snake Eater would most likely make the cut. I mean, really. I'm not a huge gamer, so I can't really point out most of the games, but here's a list of games that I belive deserve a spot in the top 10:
Metal Gear Solid
Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater
Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake
Pong
Tetris
Don't put anything in order yet, we'll do that later. Let's just make a list of the games that deserve to be in the top 10.

Red Alert 2
Fire Emblem (GBA)
Jak 2
Jedi Knight 2
Knights of the Old Republic
Not including the original MG's 'cause I stil haven't played em.
Then the games that should at all times be in the overall top 10:
MGS
MGS3
Final Fantasy VII
Pong
The Metal Gears are obvious choices.
Final Fantasy VII is simply the greatest (not the best) RPG to play. It's gameplay is still breathtakingly good and the story is a school example of how a story should develop.
Pong is the beginning. Period.
And I'm not really a tetris fan, I don't even understand why people like it, so it's not on the list.

What about Wind Waker? Yes, I know we all dislike the cel-shading graphics, kiddy Link and the overall mood of the game was more like for kids, but you cant say it wasnt a great game. I mean you could say that, but you'd be wrong.
