... and that is: CRYSIS Anyone had been looking at this? It's a FPS game coming out for the PC. Im gonna have to buy a new computer for that damn game. Even if I upgrade it like crazy, I doubt my computer will run that game. LoL. From what I've heard, Xbox360 and PS3 can't even touch these graphics thanks to DirectX10. It's amazing how technology keeps improving. Just think of the possibilities when Windows Vista comes out.. I read an article on gamespot (some hands on article about it) and apparently, as it sounds now, DirectX 10 is going to FOREVER change PC gaming. Instead of bottlenecking the max memory for textures and such to what the video card can ship and how much video memory you have free.. DX10 is only limited by total system memory. This game is only the beginning of a new era... |

Meh... PC graphics would obviously be ahead. That doesn't mean it will be a detailed game. Just because it looks real that doesn't mean anything. Sure it may a bit ahead, but I'll reserve my judgement until I see the new MGS4 trailer. Then we'll really get a taste of what the PS3 can do.

Graphics mean nothing if the game sucks, just look at Silent Hill 3.

People are in love with graphics nowadays. Sad really. People hate FF7 cause it looks silly and cartoonish, so they never realize what AN AMAZING STORY it has.

I wounder how PC gaming is gonna play out sense the CPU is about to it's limit in trasistor power...I mean anything more would blow up the motherboard.
Ya those the newer FF people don't like the old games.

Still though. Looking at MGS4 (espcially a clean trailer), I think that the PS3 will be a hell of a force to be reconed with.

Isn't this Crysis the new game from the people who made Far Cry? That game was awesome, I just might download this one if it will run on my rig.

That is true.
They also added a visual filter like how some movies have a bluish look its similar to that but kojima said somthing about making it less crisp and sharp becasuse the clarity of HD made it look very diferent to the Metal Gear franchise.

Still, no matter how good the PS3 will be, it could never reach the graphics of PC games. Im not hating on PS3 by the way. |
