Well, the new Splinter-Cell game is in a middle eastern type enviroment...and guess what!! The game will focus on mainly action instead of stealth!
WOW!! That is insane!! Where so they think of this stuff??

I was typing a very detail difference between both MGS games and SC games from 1-4 until I remember that all SC games take place in different parts of the world. I guess since with the event happening in the middle east...that Sam would blow up some terrorist for the Xbox nation fanboys.
But ya I think Ubi-Soft take something from Hideo Kojima.
(from what I was typing before so this is in a nut shell)
MGS: 3-D Tactical Espionage Action w/ fixed and scripted camera.
SC: 3rd Person fixed and free camera action, using the X and Y axis for camera rotation.
MGS2: Major Graphics leap from PS1 to PS2.
SC2: Improved graphics.
MGS3: CQC action and survival.
SC3: Knife action with doors, wires, tents, and terrorist's weak spots.
MGS4: Major Graphics leap from PS2 to PS3 and takes place in the middle east.
SC4: Minor Graphics leap from Xbox to 360 while some of the events happen around the world, Middle East being one of them.
Now if SC4 is less Stealth and more action...then they killed there own rules and are stepping into the MGS style of Stealth/Action; and if they say "were not because were being realistic about it" then I want to see SC5 without Snake...Sam as a Uber Ninja?

Splinter Cell is not in the same league as Metal Gear. I really don't think anyone would ever put that series over MG. So personally I could care less what they do. In ANY MG vs SC debate all you have to say is that MG inveted video game stealth! Done!

Done both SC and SC2...got very bored with #3 becuase I killed everyone and there was no stealth at all, stupid MGS knife clone....
