Lately, video games have just been... meh. I love video games, I do, but they just havent interested me.
Right now, the only games I wanna play/looking foward to are:
TLoZ: Twilight Princess and the new Wii TLoZ MGS4 Elder Scrolls 4 Duck Hunt Super Smash Bros.
My PS2 hasn't been touched in months. It might be all the work I do, it might be the decline in interesting video games.
Anyone else feel the same?

I work and go to school, but Im still a teenager and video games are still a big part of my life. That doesnt mean I play lots and lots of video games, I just buy one like once every three months and get into it. I still play the other ones I have too. I dont play every day, but I havent lost interest in video games in the leasr.

Well, I experienced that a while back. Hell I'm almost 25 now. And I think that after a while you loose interest and become somewhat jaded towards things like that. If all you do is watch action movies, no matter how great they get eventually it's just not the same anymore. I think it's true of most gamers. People who were big into games around the Nintendo era with the 2D and all... they're not hardcore into the new generations. And the PSone generation is growing up as well.
Fact is, real life starts to press down more and more... For example, after I'm done working today, I'm going to pick up my new car! And tomorow I got my 2-job schedule. I got no time to care what's comming out and in how many versions. Metal Gear is really my only plan for the PS3 right now. Beyond Portable Ops and Guns of the Patriots I really don't know.
Besides, I really don't think that games are "fun" anymore. They're just too damn real! I think that it takes away from the exprience. The idea of a video game is to be fun and take you OUT of reality. Instead, now we get graphic simulations, especially with realistic games like Metal Gear.
I think that the PSone era was the best. Things were real enough becuase they finally tapped 3D, but vague and fun enough to be a "game". The PS2 changed it all. Games are just too real now.

There's lots of old games of mine sitting around, I have the desire to play them still but don't know when I'll ever get to them. I couldn't possibly give them away though, they have a huge amount of sentimentality for me.

Elder Scrolls IV kicks major ass. I'll bet dude. I would play it for the X360 cause I know a dude with it, but that'll mean I just gotta start over when the PS3 version comes out. Shame I won't be getting one until March 07. I hear that game consumes your life.

Leopard will be able to run Windows XP. You'll need an install disc for XP, but if you have a burner and BitTorrent you can get it for free. You can go to www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/ if you want to participate in the beta. Looks like fun.

Oh yeah, I was gonna get bootcamp, but i said f...ck it cause sh*t arose and it just never happened, so i'll just wait for Leopard.
I'm not really into playing games for computers anyway, so i'll just wait for the PS3 version. Less slowdown, better graphichs.
