I can't imagine why anyone would be DUMB enough to buy the lesser of the two versions. Same for the Xbox 360. "But AG, whah whah... not everyone has enough money...". Bah! If you got $400 for a sh*tty version you can hold of for a bit and save the needed $100 to get the complete one. Why they release two versions is just idiotic. The fact that some actually buy the lesser one is even worse.

The premium console costs $999 in aus.
So some stores have been told.
Nothing has been confirmed.
But i remember seeing the PS2 for $799 when it was released but that was probly with a game so im guessing the PS3 would be $799 on its own.

Depends on the exchange rate. $599 American is about $818 Australian and $499 American is about $681 Australian. So you were pretty close.

Yep. I heard that preorders have already begun in the UK at 400-450 Euros for the 60GB, which is about $630-$700 including tax.

Wow...I should look into those since the states can't do any preordering until Oct, being Gamestop that is...I don't know about Best buy after that whole f**k up on Final Fantasy VII being on the PS3... |
