Inspired by the search for the new 7 Wonder of the World, I thought maybe we should set up a 7 Wonders of the Gaming World. Best series, best game, best character.... you know, different stuff. We can either do different groups or all in one.

Different groups sounds best.
But do you mean video-games in general or Metal Gear games? Because I don't think we have 7 cannon games yet. ;D

Well, if we were to make the big 7 for the following:
* Systems
* Games
* Series
* Characters
But that seems too much. I would almost try to make just the big 7 of Video Games.
1. Mario - the greatest symbol of gaming in a single character.
2. Nintento - the name of gaming.
3. PlayStation - the symbol of gaming systems.
4. Shigeru Miyamoto - the father of modern gaming.
Things of that nature. Tetris, Final Fantasy, and Arkades are some of the other heavy names.
The Problem is that I don't see Metal Gear taking any kind of spot in the list. It's good in ceratin things, but it's not really legendary like some of the others.
