A new section is now available! The long awaited Metal Gear Timeline! Now, the old one is still in Supplement Gear, but when I remake that section it will be removed. So enjoy the entire saga, now organized into the long-awaited/requested Timeline! Sound ON!

I'd like to look at it, but the site isn't very 56k friendly.

All the buttons on the timeline page just take you to the same URL...

Yeah? So? There is no link to another page. It's meant to be just a mouse over effect. You point at the year and the center image shows you the events in that time period. I could not remove the need for a link in the code so I just made it the same page url. I gotta say, I'm rather shocked by the lack of interest in that section. I thought it was visiually very intising and probably the best looking timeline I've seen on any MG site. I expected a better reaction to a rather important addition to the site.

Didn't work for me, it just says the years and then the squares are links, it does say to download missing plug-ins so I guess I'll do that. And BTW (on the homepage) it should say "E3 2007" not '06, just thought I'd let ya know.

The mouseover doesn't work for you? You point at the button and the main image, the big one, changes. It's just like the main page when you point at the yellow buttons at the top, the large image changes to the preview of the game section.

That's a very, very nice and informative timeline, AG. Good work, old boy!

I did that in 2 days, so there may be things missing. If you guys know of any other factual (officially dated) material, please let me know and I'll see if I can squeez it in.
Thanks! ;D

Sorry about my late response, but now that I've checked it out, all I have to say is that it's freakin awesome. You're right about it being the coolest and bestest timeline on the net. I haven't seen a better one at least.
It took a while for me to figure out that I had to move my mouse over a year and wait, but it doesn't really matter.

AG, you should make a video of that timeline using clips from MG.
If I made one for you would you have any use for it?

I'm not entirely sure how you would cover the whole saga in the video... but give it a try. Once we see what it looks like, perhaps we can implement it.
