Nothing really. I was bored at work today so I glanced over the only functional part of their site  the forum. There was a topic about posting pictures of "your MG collection". I was hoping someone that posts there would throw some of my pics up there, just to show the greenhorns what a real Metal Gear collection looks like!  |

Not really interested in opening an account there. As for my collection, there are a couple of threads somewhere around here that show it. I'll wait until I get all the MGS4 stuff that I want, then take some new pics.

You don't need to. Like I said, my only reasoning was to put pictures of a REAL MG collection. Not really to be a posting member. Figured someone would just throw my pictures up in that thread. No big deal.

Why would the person posting pictures has to make a nasty comment? What makes you think that's a requirement? Surely it's possible to post the photos with a simple "Here's A.G.'s collection, the owner of MGF". That simple.

Actually, no, that's not the point. Nobody on this board collects MG memorabilia. So when I show my collection here, it's really to the wrong audience. Sure it "looks cool", but I'm the only collector here. Hence I thought about it being posted in an active topic where other collectors can appreciate it.
No conspiracy theory here, sorry.

Not at all. I don't see eye to eye with one of the site owners, but that's about it. I haven't done any site wars in many years.
And I already explained as to why I would want to do that. Nothing to do with "showing off", as you so elegantly put.
