LOL! Though "Batman and Robin"? Tough toss up! Batman doesn't dances in B&R, Adam West does. And people DO die in B&R, something that never really happens in the Adam West series. Though pick, but yeah, at least B&R had SOME real things... for a comedy, that is.

I couldn't bring myself to watch Batman & Robin. It's just that bad. I've caught maybe 20-30 minutes of it, and it was just the most fantastical dreck imaginable. From Chris O'Donnell's whiny Robin (God that whole father and son rivalry/angst was annoying) to a Batsuit with nipples, to the cheesy "Batskates!" and hockey thugs battle. How absolutely tarnishing to the Batman image. Arnold's the only saving grace, just because his one-liners are irresistible ("Cool party!" "Ice to see you!" Ice to see you? Seriously? Just say that to yourself a few times.) There's just so many hot and cold related puns in that movie. Just check the IMDB page.

Oh yeah, I'd nearly forgotten about Scarecrow. What happened to him? We see him in that fake Batman assault, and in a van, but then I don't remember much. He leaves them cuffed, so the police most likely gets them. The Joker burned him when he burned the money. What cliffhanger. He gets caught by the police. It's safe to assume he goes to jail or Arkham. You did not just call Adam West crap. Shame on you. And the only way to watch Batman & Robin all the way through is with Rifftrax: youtube.com/watch?v=ZmuIzGDMUi8Anyone know where I could find the whole thing? Oh, and a funny trivia about Robin. Bale was competing with O'Donnell for the role of Robin when Batman Forever was going to be made. Im glad he didnt get the part. lol

Dude, I only found out about Batman in 1993. I lived in Russia before then so I knew nothing of it. I saw the Superman movie once (the original), but that's about it. So to me, Batman was "Batman" (1989) and "Batman The Animated Series". Keaton is Batman. Nicholson is The Joker. Oh, and Kevin Conroy IS THE ONLY voice of Batman. So, when I look at the earlier Batman material, Adam West and Super Friends, it means nothing to me. I look at it as a joke, simple as that. Now, that does not mean I don't know about it. For example, (it could be a cooincidence) but when Batman turns the tide on Ra's in "Batman Begins" in the train fight with the "You never learned to mind your surroundings" he sounds damn near Adam West! The voice just sounds like him! I though it may have been intentional, as a tribute. BTW, my all time favorite episode of the animated series is "Gray Ghost". So, I pay my respects when they are due.

Exactly, the series from the 60s is more of a joke; a comedy. The campyness, the sillyness, it's all intentional. But comedy or not, Adam West's Batman IS the Batman that launched the character to stardom by introducing it to basically the whole world. Only comic fans knew of Batman back then. You cant talk about Batman without talking about Adam West. I grew up watching re-runs and it's what made me a Batman fan. So once you get through the campyness, you realize it's not crap. ><
And thanks cernex, but torrents dont work for me.

Crazy enough, I watched a good bit of the 60's Batman show growing up. Two things that don't ever seem to go away, Gilligan's Island and the original Batman. It's hilarious now to see Burgess Meredith, aka Mick from the Rocky series scampering around with a pillow stuffed in his shirt and quacking in his portrayal of Penguin.
Anyone ever see Batman: Mask of the Phantasm? It was in the same Batman the Animated Series style and man, was it awesome! Because it's a movie and not ever really intended for the same audience, it's more violent and dark. There's blood and crap and in one awesome scene The Joker knees Harley Quinn in the stomach and even uppercuts her!

Ive considered Mask of the Phantasm the best Batman movie until The Dark Knight came along.
