But I'm sure you'd be an a-hole too if you had to deal with as many users as I had to deal with. But I guess you'll never know how that's like. You abuse your status, and you abuse the good name of MGS. And also, just because your one of the first links in search engines doesnt mean your ol'numero uno. Keep your cutout information, and go back to beating off to Payton's messages. No wonder Pavel left. After speaking to him, he seemed like a good guy to affiliate with. Your a hall monitor of an elementary school level forum. And at one point in time, year or two ago. Pavel offered me a position on your staff, which I declined. Seeing how you and your people are, dependant on other peoples earned money, attacking other forums. Im glad I did. I dont take handouts, my site is free service because its just me. If I could share the burden of payments thats different. But taking money from your avid fans, is not just wrong, but disgraceful to Metal Gear itself. Good luck with next year's pledge drive. Why do you keep attacking all of TUS with the donation thing when it was Ryan's doing? I think theres a misunderstanding here  First off Ryan does not represent TUS. I am sure a majority of the members would disagree with his decision to put up a donation link. Hell if it was up to me I honestly would have just left the site down until our own staff came up with the money. It just does not seem fair that you are criticizing the entire site because of what Nitroid did. |

Well there wasnt a disclaimer I apologize. It just seems ridicilous about the donations, which is why I made this thread pointing it out. Then inevitably attacked as I foreseen. But your telling me none had pull enough to NOT have that? Pavel left him in charge? Good god. You need A.I.'s not his uber head. After Pavel left, I lost all respect TUS from these donations, I guess I should say Ryan, yet I never had respect for him regardless.

Unfortunately no one is really in charge at the moment except Ryan. A lot of decisions are made without really consulting other staff members so you have stuff like this happening. He announced one day that the host needs $300, tells a couple of people on IM or IRC channel and then puts the donation link up the next day. WTF. If there was a staff meeting we most likely would not have gone the donation route as it was really looked down upon the last time it happened. But staff meetings dont really happen. Haha we were supposed to have one in January and that still has not happened. So its clear the staff is really lacking. But hell I am not in charge anyway what with my busy life. Same with Pavel. Hopefully we can set things straight after this ordeal. |

The constant childish insults (telling us to be like Kuja, ect.) and the seemingly unnecessary distaste for TUS draw me here. Personally, I don't care what you think of TUS, as it's a very successful MGS fansite with thousands of hits a day, regardless of what you say otherwise. I just don't really like how you're trying to strike a nerve by using a guy who died as your ammo. But I digress. I'm here because I'm bored. I don't actually have any hard feelings for this board, or anyone on here. (Unlike you guys for TUS. XD) |

Busy lives come with age and awareness of adulthood. Which is why my site is in the dumper at the moment. But consensus decisions should be the pillar of a group run site. Not one man, and if it is one man it shouldnt be him. Im glad someone is replying with a head on their shoulders. But donations just plain look bad, thats all were saying. But as you said its not anyones missdoing except his. I dont know your staff's rankings. Other then Ryan, Error and Pavel's. I mainly just know names. Including yours.
