When Snake did a backflip off a missile I knew the game was beyond saving. So WHEN did this bloody thing happen? I can't rack my brains to see if MGS4 had such a moment, lolol |

Yes, the conversation was about MGS4 and then it branched into Twin Snakes after the poster comment. I'm guessing you never played Twin Snakes.

Given the current state of the series, where story is sacrificed for gameplay, I doubt I will try TS. Especially with MGS5, PO and PW farking up the story. And don't get me started on Rising or Survive. Besides, I don't have a next-gen console...

Twin Snakes isn't next gen. It was released in 2004 on the Game Cube. It's a remake of MGS1 using the game engine of MGS2. Silicon Knights developed the game.

Twin Snakes isn't next gen. It was released in 2004 on the Game Cube. It's a remake of MGS1 using the game engine of MGS2. Silicon Knights developed the game. @cerberus: which you would know if you just googled it. Seriously, just do a little research. Don't waste our time. They used the MGS TS audio files for the audio flashbacks in MGS4 (in case you don't know those, please google it), because they were of better sound quality than those of the original MGS1 (though not necessarily of better acting quality). Also they implemented little changes. For instance, there is a trench in the snowfield where you fight the tank. And in Otacons Lab there first was a Policenauts poster in the original MGS1, which was replaced with a Zone of the Enders poster in MGS TS. In MGS4 when you return to Shadow Moses, you have Otacons Lab where they have the Zone of the Enders poster coming of and behind it is the Policenauts poster, which I think was a nice touch. That is why i mentioned MGS4 in relation to MGS TS. btw. are you a native speaker? |
