Well the new show is coming out. The characters look very different... Lion-O and Tygra are brothers! And it seems to take placeon Thundera. The voice actor for Lion-O in the original show is back to voice his father!  |

Kojima ans Shinkawa were really into this show way back then right? I remember having two of the action figures, but what I don't remember is...was it good?

Well, the original show (back in the 80's) was amazing. And for it's time there was nothing like it US in terms of animation. It's a classic, right up there with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and He-Man. This new show is taking a slightly new approach to the story and the characters. Naturally the animation is different as well, a lot more Anime-style than the original show.

It's not just "more anime-style", it IS anime. I know, im a big anime fan, and it's Studio 4°C who are animating this, a well known japanese anime studio.
