I find it funny that a year ago Kojima was all about the CO-OP angle on handhelds to get people to play together. And now... "hell, let's just port it on the consoles". LOL
This is exactly why I can't take this series seriously anymore. They contradict every point they make! Everything they hype to be important is quickly replaced and forgotten. Just watch, Kojima's secret projec is a remake of MPO and MPW into a "a true missing chapter of Big Boss' tragedy". LOL

The game looks fun, at least. I'll probably buy the package.

Oh I'll get the package to have MGS2 and 3 in HD. But I just don't understand why they have to half-ass everything. The "collection" doesn't make sense since the game don't really go together. MGS3 - the beginning of the saga. OK, that makes sense. Peace Walker... well, what about MPO? It was in the 2007 20th anniversary set as a legit part of the canon... now they are leaving it out of the set but show it on the E3 timeline. And then they jump right to MGS2! 2007-2009. Why? MG1 and 2 are already converted to the PS2. MGS1 is on the PSN. And MGS4 is on the PS3. Why isn't the PS3 getting the full collection?
As for Peace Walker, I have no respect for Kojima for making it. Conceptually that game is flawed from start to finish. And if his big plan was to show how Big Boss grew his army, then I couldn't me more dissapointed. Snatching up enemy soldiers with a stupid baloon trick... randomly too! lol It would've been far better if you saw the origin of Outer Heaven as being hand-picked mercenaries Big Boss actually recruited, not stole.
