I really don't want Metal Gear to be re-made. I'd the mobile phone versions to be made available in the states, but that's it. Re-making Metal Gear would be like any other remake of a classic film. It shows a lack of creativity, and the game wouldn't fit in with the times. Metal Gear was great because it was revolutionary. If it was made as a new game it would be lackluster in comparison to it's original form.

Remaking the first two games would be a mistake. What they did with the mobile re-releases was perfect. Just made them fit to MGS a bit better. I think we should get those versions.

I assume that they put MG1 and 2 onto cell phones and they are currently unreleased in the US right??

Yep. Japanese exclusive releases at the moment. There have been no announcements to bring it to American cell phones yet. You never know what might happen though.

Betcha they move it to DS or a Nintendo handheld.
Maybe a free download on the PSP?
