I don't really care what you all think of this - I'm gay after all - so I'll go ahead and say it. I cried at the end of this game. Actually, I've never cried this much ever in my life. I haven't suffered any losses except my grandmother, so maybe that's why.
In fact, I cried so hard and so long I had trouble seing anything. Sometimes when I read quotations of Tanya, when she says to Snake The Boss's mission and debriefing will only endure in his heart, my whole body vibrates.
I cried when The Boss talked about the US and Russia and their race to the moon. No one has ever put it so smart as Kojima did. During the fight though, I didn't feel anything special, just emtyness. When She then talked again I just lost myself in tears again.
Ever since I saw City of Angels with Nicolas Cage, I've been this pathetic crybaby. ;D

I just wasn't as moved by it as them to were. So no, I didn't cry because it wasn't the right emotion.
I did get teary eyed when Big Boss started to cry. that was the right time.
You shouldn't cry when your emotions shuold be else where.

I wouldn't say I fully brke down and cry. It did bring a tear to my eye though, not full on crying though. Very touching ending nonetheless.
Sidenote: What does being gay have to do with crying?

Wow, sensitive guy there...no crying, but I did feel a sort of honor or sense of rightful virtue.

How can you not feel any emotion during the ending?! Everybody must have felt something when watching it.

I didn't, I was just a little sad. I wish I had cried though. It was very touching in many ways, but I just didn't cry. I can't put it into words but I had this sort of...honorical feeling or something like that... The whole scene was amazing, there's nothing like it anywhere.

The ending indeed was a very sad one, it made things more clear for us about Big Boss and the kind of sadness he was going through.
