the patriots try to kill solid snake and his anti-metal gear group but they kill everyone except snake and he then remakes outer heaven becoming the bad guy in the eyes of the patriots but a the good guy in liquid, solidus, vamp and big boss. but thats a weird theory.
btw naomi was working for ocelot thats why he didn't die from fox hound either. but thats just another weird theory!!

I think Philanthropy will become an anti-Patriots group. Snake, not backed up by the goverment, infiltrates the base where the Patriots are holding Olga's baby and continuing the Les Enfants Terrible project by re-cloning Big Boss. Liquid has completely taken over Ocelot, until the Patriots can separate the two, leaving Ocelot as basically a sunken, empty man, betrayed by one of the 38,702,918 organizations that HE betrayed. This leaves him disillusioned and he starts to help Snake. Liquid and Big Boss - revived body or clone, I don't know - team up to fight them, and in the end Snake and Big Boss end up fighting in Metal Gears, Snake in REX, B.B. in RAY, so he has the advantage. Snake loses, but then sees what B.B. saw since the 60s, and joins him (Liquid is dead by now), so in the next game Raiden is your enemy. (Just a thought; I wouldn't mind killing him next time.)
Mind you, it's 11:00 PM, I have school tomorrow, and I'm not including all the announced characters, just a shell of a story I came up with loosely based on TheDoctor's.

Big Boss probably thought the same.
I dunno, but I have had this short idea in my head for awhile. Ocelot is back in control of his body, fighting it, as he fights Raiden. He draws his revolver and fires, Raiden blocks it with his sword, then smirks. He looks into Ocelot's dead eyes. Ocelot's tired eyes. The eyes of a man on the brink of destruction. "What's the matter, Ocelot?" says Raiden "The lap dog getting tired?"
"Wha-what did you say?"
"All this time...from when you where born...you've been used by The Patriots...your just their puppet on strings...but looks like Olga's kid is next in line, and your all washed up."
"Shut up!"
Ocelot spins his revolver, swirling it on his--Liquid's finger, and fires. Raiden makes the bullet ricochet off his sword and right into Ocelot's hand, not his Liquid arm, but his other arm. He screams out, then fires a few more times at Raiden, but Snake interferes. You then fight Ocelot who keeps turning into Liquid and when he is Liquid he is stronger, and he becomes Liquid mainly when you are closest to him. You then get down his stamina or health and he sways from side to side, he then lunges forward. Snake and Raiden look at each other. Ocelot let's out one groan, then he becomes Liquid. "Sssnnnaaakkke! You where the only one...who didn't see the truth...the only one who didn't fight back...Snake...I pity you...atleast Solidus, Big Boss and I saw what was really going on...you probably never will...goodbye Snake..." and with that, Liquid and Ocelot both die together in the same being. But it is not over--Vamp still has Meryl and Naomi captive, Raiden and Snake must head further through into enemy territory to take down Vamp once and for all.

That'd be a neat boss fight - Snake vs. Ocelot, and everytime Snake gets too close to Ocelot for an amount of time, Liquid would take over and he'd be super-strong.

Big Boss probably thought the same. considering big boss had a history fighting metal gears and all.... and by "use" i meant pilot. as in he'd never pilot a metal gear. |

I think BB wont be snakes enemy.
He will explain to snake what he was doing etc.
Snake will realise that BB for planning to destry the philosophers which turns out to be the patriots now.
So they team up.... and the rest writes itself.

His picture showed up in a promo poster, but that's it so far. it's not official that he will be in the game yet.

I think he'll be in the storyline of MGS4 somehow. I wonder if he'll appear in the game, though. Remember in MGS1 when Snake asks Campbell "Why don't they just hand over the remains of Big Boss?" and Campbell is thrown off by his question and doesn't know how to answer? It might be because Big Boss is still being kept alive, possibly by the Patriots themselves
