What will be in store for the Emmerich family in the new MG4? I think,
- New anti-Metal Gear actions by Philanthropy. - Maybe we will see a new family member. - Otacon will die, but not of old age, the same way the rest of the family died. (That would be very dramatic if Solid Snake's best buddy would die in his arms.)

yeah but i do honestly think Otacon is a little older, like 3 - 5 years older, when MGS2 ended, Snake was 37 + Otacons 3 - 5 years would put Otacon in his 40's, look at the hair color and the face, Otacon is atleast in his early 40's

It's just that the whole Liquid and Ocelot sharing a body is too far fetched. And Metal Gear isn't a secret weapon anymore. I don't know... it's kinda stale. I would really like to see another Metal Gear solid game in the series but yeah, like this guy said, its kinda corny how they did that whole Ocelot possessed by Liquid snake thing. It messed up the story. I like the MGS series not just for the great gameplay but mostly for the story. You play the game and you tell yourself "wow! this can really happen (except for the big boss cloning thing)". MGS 3 makes it even more realistic by blending it in with history. But then they had to go and make Liquid snake's soul or whatever come out of his hand and spontaneously control Ocelot. After I saw that, I was "WTF!?!". I mean we're playing MGS here not Final Fantasy. You know what, i need to control myself.

Anything can happen, they even cloned humans beings! The Ocelot and Liquid thing is fine with me. You have to get used to it.
Take a look at The Fear or Decoy Octopus for example, I find them a hell lot crazier then Ocelot having Liquids arm.

but they all have realistic quality's, The Fear could've been a double jointed albino who had the gift of climbing tree's quickly and didn't the band members of KISS have long tongues? no big deal then, and Decoy Octupus? he was realer than anything, he didn't have special gifts only the ability to copy the exact tone of voice as one who is imatated, and lending blood is no big thing, people do it every day in hospitals, only he did it in large amounts
Gray Fox had the best explanation, he was a human inside an exoskeleton, that used kinetic energy and moved on actuators which made him look superhuman compared to a normal man, and the exoskeleton was made out of a type of liquid aluminium that could withstand bullets to a certain calliber, and it could stretch to any angle without tearing like normal bendable aluminium, all combined with built in electronics
Liquids arm on Ocelot could have an explanation but i don't know it, yet

You don't have an explanation for Ocelot/Liquid because it's not realistic.
And remember MG is still a game, most of the characters couldn't even exist in real life.

When someone is proving a point you cant go all "it's not real" on them. We all know that it is not real but chose to debate it. That was just unfair.

Liquid being able to come back to life through Ocelot has an important part in the theme of passing on information. Who cares if it's realistic or not? You can transplant an arm. So the only unrealistic thing is how Liquid can controll Ocelot's body.
That, however, we can blame "Ocelot being The Sorrow's son" on. Liquid maybe used that spiritual communication thingy. Remember that it was Liquid who choose Ocelot, not Ocelot who choose Liquid.

How the hell can Liquid choose Ocelot when he's dead. Ocelot choose to transplant Liquids arm on his missing arm part. So he choose Liquid in some way.
And you might be right on that body switching! I never really thought about that! Liquid can control his body because Ocelot was The Sorrow's son! It could be.

"Why do you think I chose Ocelot as my host?" "You can't even begin to imagine how excited I am, knowing that they are still out there. Revenge is pleasure I've been cheated on too many times. When I'm done with Snake, I'm coming after them, The Patriots!" I know it seems wierd, but somehow Liquid picked Ocelot. That's not even a theory.
