...[creepy little bastard] is playing the wrong game. MGS3 had much better graphics than MGS2. The guard's eyes where now polygons rather than textures.

You sure you were playing the right games? The trees didn't look like big cylinders, even though that's essentially what a tree is. well y'know, glitches, i mean a tree dont have little cut edges, MGS3's tree's wern't detailed, its just the syle, the graphics are identical, to me anyway, stupid ass graphics, i hate them, the gameplay a little same too

Now you're just being nitpicky for the sake of being nitpicky. The trees looked fantastic. There are limits to how much detail can be cramed in, and unfortunately they couldn't make the trees as smooth as you wanted.

I liked it. It was a great game with an intriguing story. I get pissed whenever people won't stp their pissing and moaning about Raiden.

You people are forgetting one basic thing... Both games are on PS2... MGS3 is not on PS3, so why would it have AMAZINGLY better graphics...

yeah, we know, and i didn't mind Raiden, however i would've liked to have played Snake a little longer on a high-tek machine we were all promised at the start of the century, to see Snake more detailed than PSOne and be able to play as him, only to be granted with a totally diferent character; Raiden, but to see Snake from a different perspective, to see him as a mentor to you, to Raiden
Kojima never gave up though, when the better part of the US and Europe shuned Raiden for his women like poisture's, he went on with the 'New Character' theme and put it into MGS3, it had what people wanted, Solid Snake and Big Boss put together, the face of Snake and the identidy of Big Boss

Raiden is an excellent character I think. I have a Raiden defence I made to stop the moaning from people who hate him, and alot of the time, they hate him for the sake of hating him, not realising some of the qualities they hate are the same, or atleast similar to Snake's.

Sorry, but what the f...ck kind of question is that? "Anyone else likes MGS2?" Duh, it's a masterpiece, it's beautiful art, crafted by a genius. I know, I can't expect every video-game player to be smart enough to absorb anything as complex as MGS2 and understand it, but honestly it does make me angry sometimes.
FACT is, that none of the games becomes as good as their potential allows them to be unless you put them all together and see them as a whole. MGS1 was about Genes, right, but when MGS2 came out, MGS1 suddenly was about Memes. And when you look at only MGS2, you think it's about Memes, when it is actually MGS2 that's about Genes. And MGS3 makes it so darn hard to put into a few sentences.
People say MGS3 is as much about the story of The Boss as about the story of Big Boss. I'd like to say that MGS3 is as much about the story of Big Boss as it is about the story of The Boss. The Boss's life is a metaphor for Big Boss's life. When Eva was talking about how The Boss would never be understood, she was actually talking about Big Boss. It so made perfect sense and it deletes every last bit of doubt one have that Kojima planned the entire series from the very beginning.
Oh, and [creepy little bastard], sue the Source. If they're telling you that MGS3 runs on the same engine as MGS2, they're good for nothing. MGS3 uses a totally different engine, not an updated version of MGS2's, but a NEW.
