I didn't really relize this but this game is freaking awesome.
Seriously I had WAY more fun playing this game then MGS3. MGS3 was crap to me except for the ending parts of the game where it truly felt like a MG game.
The whole concept was way over my head but thats what makes it freaking cool.

In my opinion MGS2 was a great game, but if I put all three games it would be like this for me: 1-MGS3 2-MGS1 3-MGS2

MGS2 was great, I thought. I liked MGS3, but at times it didn't feel Metal Gear Solid-ish (Havn't completed the previous ones or played them enough at all to know how they "feel" exacly), possibly because of when it was based, and the characters where zanier than ever, I thought. At the end it felt very MGS like, but it was too short. I really like MGS2, Raiden is cool, as is Snake, in my opinion, and Solidus is my favouriote MGS badguy...I think...

Man, I don't know how anyone likes MGS2 over MGS3. The story was much more coherent, the characters were less over the top (running on water, anyone?) but still pretty far out there. I think Metal Gear Solid 2 had the least amount of MG "feel" to it, except for the tanker part, which I loved. The Big Shell didn't incorporate enough of the sneaking feel to it. It was more "tranq everyone you see". MGS3 is the ultimate stealth game. Come to think of it, I haven't played MGS2 in at least a year - I've been dying to play it lately. Maybe I'll do that soon.

yeah but MGS2 had its moments; cool moments like the appearance of Solidus on the Shell 1-2 connecting bridge, that entire scene and the scene after it was cooler than hell, the grenadier strike from Snake from the Kastaka, ''Raiden Get Down!'' *gunfire* **explosions**, then the loading of the M203 grenade launcher, big bang and then Solidus jumping off the pipe onto the Harrier, then afterwards the Ray appearance with the Cluster Bomb strike, big missiles dispersing out over the air and hitting Snake and Otacon's Kasatka
this was one of MGS2's coolest scene that made the game rock
another scene was the ending of the Tanker Chapter with Ocelot--Liquid hijacking Ray, ''You don't have what it takes after all!'' and ''Your going down Snake!, with this Tanker!'' *iron scraping off the Tanker ceiling* **gunfire and heavy stomps from Ray ripping throughout the hold** then Snake being pounded against the wall from the magnificent force of Metal Gear Ray, and even then the absolute rip tearing Water Cannon from Rays mouth tearing a whole in the Tankers side, scuttling it in half, more to come with the climatic music building up to the 'Ray Jump' and the rivetting sound of Ocelots voice, ''...Yes sir, right on schedule...', and finnaly the coolest backflip in MGS2 history with Ray jumping 20 plus feet of the sinking Tanker in a savage slowmotion style FMV from director Hide Kojima with the thundering Harry-Gregson Williams **du-du-du-du-da-dun!!** auchestra in the music factor of the shot
it was scenes like these that made MGS2 rock!! *gives the guitar a legatto bass slap!!* **clickin'!!*

Each of the Solid titles was different and remarkably good on their own merits.
I like the fact that they were not the same. Each one had a unique feel to it.
MGS3 is by far the longest and the most technically sound of the 3. MGS1 had the best feel to it and the best characters. MGS2 offered a great deal of vairety from the series, as it was the only game to have 2 playable characters.
I'm just concerned about the next one. It has to offer not only something new, but in overall presentation in HAS to surpass MGS3. Each game thus far has been moving forward, I don't want to see any steps backwards.

MGS2 and MGS3 do NOT have the same graphics. You couldn't be more wrong.

I like them to look the same. Would you like som cel-shading crap? You know, the graphics that ruined the Zelda series?

True. They all do have a unique feel. MGS actually feels...hmm...damp? That's the only way I can put it. Great atmosphere in them, and is it just me or is MGS darker? I also really liked the twist near the end. And for me, MGS3 was the quickest, and enemies like The Fear where too easy, so easy I loaded up again to KILL him because I felt cheap knocking his stamina down. I was mucking around with MGS earlier today, those guards are so dumb...still a great game. All of them are...but I really like SOL...I dunno which one is my favourite, to tell you the truth, I am having trouble desiding...well, now that I think about it, SE is pretty hard, the enemies are alot smarter, but bosses are too easy although...is this more realalistic? MGS2 has one part I find really hard: Arsenal Gear, it is so hard to hide there, and the first time I was playing I was 12 and I thought I broke the game with the colonel calling me...

AG you left out the last part of what I said.
It was crap until the ending parts where it truly felt like a MG game.
I never said MGS2 felt like MG game I just said it rocked.
MGS3 was just a little too repetive for me. It is a great game and the combat is amazing as is the stealth. I'm merely saying I had a thrill ride with MGS2.
MGS3 is way better in my opinion.

MGS2 and MGS3 do NOT have the same graphics. You couldn't be more wrong. they use the same engines, almost, MGS3 is tjust a little more effective, but yep, there about the same style of graphics, stupid graphics in which tree's look like big cylinders, MGS: Twin Snake's was the exact goddamb same thing too

You sure you were playing the right games? The trees didn't look like big cylinders, even though that's essentially what a tree is.
