A re-release of Metal Gear, and a release of Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, for your GBA system!! Go back to where it all began in the 1980s as Solid Snake in his origional missions! A new translation of Metal Gear, and a translation of Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, with the option to play in the origional 1987 translation if you wish. Both games stay in the same form as their origional release!
I don't know about you guys, but I would prefure a simple port, rather than revamping the two games. I want to expirence it how it was origionally, but, if I choose too, with better English (I don't mind the crappy English, it's funny). Although, if they where to update the graphics and sound, I wouldn't mind that much, so long as they don't change too much, like the names of characters.
Considering it is pretty much impossible to get a hold of the origional.

Why? If it isn't going to be advanced into 3D and just a port with maybe minor changes, why the DS?

You're getting your damn MG and MG2 when Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistance comes out. Now stop your bitching.

I wasn't bitching, I posted this before I knew about the expansion for MGS3, and I just posted it for fun, not as if it was real or anything. Geez.

Can nobody on this boad detect sarcasm?

Evidently, no. Sarcasm doesn't work too well on the internet unless you include a smily, it seems.

Yeah, but I really don't like using those insipid smileys.

I don't mind them, but I hate the overuse of them.

So you're gonna play them over the course of the next 2 1/2 years?

I will also play them cronologically at some point, then play Ghost Babel again maybe. I like having a little Metal Gear to carry around, which is why I wanted MG and MG2 to be released as a bundle pack for the GBA, but this will work too

They should have done this awhile ago, but its such a good idea, it will give, including myself, better insight to the past, before MGS.

Mm-hmm. MGS brought on alot of new fans, and I am glad they are letting these fans know everything that happened, to create the full loop of MG,MG2,MGS,MGS2,MGS(Which then loops back to MG) it's a resonable time to release it, but, if we all knew more about Big Boss and Snake, it would of made MGS3 more powerful IMO.
