I don't know whether to be happy or sad. I have been trying desperatly to get a hold of the origional NES port, and it is just in my reach, and now this. I don't know whether to be happy or sad.

The NES port was actually pretty unfaithful to the original. Just wait for Subsistence.

I dunno...
...hmmm...maybe if it stays really cheap, I'll go for it, and a NES as well. But if the two in Substinence (Which will probably take a long time to be released in Australia, and all I would really be getting it for would be Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 as the PAL version has Snake vs Monkey, Demo Theater [No Casting, though] and the Boss Duel or whatever it's called...unless you can play co-op with a mate on a second controller rather than only online...) so I'll see...chances are I will get both, for the origional and the next one, and The NES just to keep me Tactical Espionage Actioning till then.

You used to be able to get the roms of the originals from Jackyl's site, but he's having some legal troubles right now.

Bah. I don't like ROMS. Doesn't have the same "feel" if you know what I mean, and I feel like a bogan.

Considering MSX was a home computer, ROMs with these two pretty much do have the same feel.

Wait.
Is it going to be just an all out shooter or stealth based?
Where there is like a BB and some human controlled terrorists or is it just gonna be some huge fight that just continues on?

It's still gonna be a stealth game. In an interview shortly after the international release of MGS3 he said that the theme "No place to hide!" meant that you would be hiding in unconventional places. You'd be thinking "You expect me to hide here?!"

I think he means the online mode of MGS3.
He said the camo works for that, though I don't quite see how...
