Remember those trailers that said "ReLive the past to survive the future"? They all make perfect sense now. Since we have all relived the past (MGS3), we are now ready to take on the future with full understanding of what we are doing. Think about it. If we didn't know about all of the things that were mentioned in MGS3, we probably wouldn't have a very good idea of what we are doing or why we are doing it in MGS4. Anyone agree?

Good point! MGS3 played a very big role in the "Solid" games. It might clear up some stuff in MGS4.

kinda f...cked the timeline, if you ask me, we were on a clear path to the events after the Big Shell, and MGS3 quantum leaped us into 1964!

Pretty stupid point, if you ask me, "Mike". You who know so much should know how extremly important MGS3 is to the theme.

That makes absolute sense, good job. It will probably help us with more up to date AI, as MGS4 compared to MGS2 AI will almost definatly be an extreame change, so MGS3 helped us with an AI system closer to MGS4? Just a thought.
They say this will be the hardest yet, I think MG is! Even though I only breifly played it, I will play it in full soon enough.

Sorry, Soldier, wasn't mad at you. It was directed at Gen.
Anyway, I actually agree with you. Didn't read the first post, so I just jumped to the conclusion it had to be something stupid since Gen liked it.

the fact that he read a single post (not even the original) and jumped to conclusions shows total ignorance.

Well, I did read the first post, the entire thread actually. But then Gen said something about a Mike (I know now that's The Soldier), and I didn't know who Mike were. So I thought Mike was [creepy little bastard], and what [creepy little bastard] said was plain f...cking stupid.
So sorry Gen and The Soldier.

Further proof that we should leave real names out of the forum.
