A theory about grey fox and ocelot

I have heard that Grey Fox was from Vietnam. Apparently Hanoi is in Vietnam, as was EVA. IT's obvious snake and EVA eloped at some point. I was just thinking that maybe grey fox was big boss' only real son. This might also explain why Grey Fox joined big boss in the first place, and why he was merely captured in MG1(MSX) rather than killed. I might even go so far as to say that Big Boss was Campbell's brother and Meryl was Big boss's daughter, or in the absense of Big Boss, EVA got busy with someone else. likely and unlikely i suppose.


My theories get worse....


I think Grey fox was sent to kill all the snake's. The only reason why grey fox said "you will kill me or i will kill you, it makes no difference" was cause they're missions were similar. Solid snake intends to end the lives of all the other Snake's, as did Grey Fox. Their intentions were the same, they just wanted to do battle one last time. I think the reason snake was able to beat Grey Fox twice was cause grey fox wasn't "THE MAN", he was the son of THE MAN. Snake is a supposed clone of THE MAN meaning his genes are vintage.




* When i say THE MAN, i mean big boss/jack/naked snake

Now for ocelot

For those who are familiar with Dragonball Z, i like to view Ocelot as the Vegeta of Metal Gear. i think ocelot used Liquids arm of all others is cause being the cocky and naive jerk that he's always been, he's never quite been as elite as snake or big boss or the boss. One might go to say that he envies them. I think knowing full well the side effects of mixing someone else's nano machines with his own, he expected to "influence" his genes to a point that he'd finally be able to stand up against the likes of snake, grey fox, solidus, etcetera.


One more theory that'll debunk my other theories.


Do u think The Joy underwent her own cloning procedures?

i was just thinking of Ocelot's line, "just what to expect from the man with the same code as the boss"

This line wasn't focused on in the games and it's possible that the storyline wasn't fleshed out when this written but if u remember at the end of MGS1, ocelot states something along the lins of "the weaker one was victorious", it could be said that Snake is not a clone of Big Boss but rather The Joy. Being that the joy lost againts big boss, she could be considered the weaker of the two; so naturally ocelot would consider snake the weaker of the three snakes.

Considering that The Boss was dead, and female, I doubt Solid Snake is her clone. That and the fact that Solid Snake looks nothing like the boss, yet exactly like Big Boss.

Also, Big Boss was sterile, so there is no way he could have actually concieved a child.

Big Boss was sterile from radiation, explained in one of the last cutscenes in MGS3.

The only one I agree with you on is that Gray Fox is the son of Eva. BUT, not the son of Big Boss. EVA wasn't from Vietnam. EVA is an American child, but she was raised by a shool in Asia or something. However, if she had a son with a Vietnamese, that would make Gray Fox half-vietnamese, and that's exactly what he is.

Being half-vietnamise, no matter which side, still had alot of racism surrounding it back then, didn't it? That's what I heard. If so, Grey Fox could easily be EVA's son, and for some reason she was taken away, which is why Grey Fox was driven to become a soldier.

Yes, Gray Fox had to work hard labor even after the Vietnam War had ended, only because of his skin color. He was tortured and discriminated, and he would have died if Big Boss wouldn't have saved him. Maybe Big Boss saved Jaeger because he knew he was the son of EVA, his former partner and lover?

It says in the MGS1 manual that he is sterile. And in MGS3 it is mentioned that he was subject to nuclear testing on Bikini Atoll several years prior. If that doesn't kill sperm forever, nothing will.

I can't think of another reason why Big Boss would suddenly help a half-Vietnamese boy who he has never seen in his life. I'm talking about Frank Jaeger.

I hope this will be cleared up in MGS4.

This might have been before he turned corrupt and power-hungry. He probably saw the potential Gray Fox had to be molded into a soldier, and siezed the oppurtunity.
