IGN.com June 14, 2005 - As first mentioned at IGNPS2 late last week, Konami and Sony are teaming up to put a little Metal Gear action in the upcoming Ape Escape 3. Available as a mini game in the Ape Escape sequel is Mesal Gear Solid: Snake Escape (previously listed as Mesaru Gear Solid). Be sure and check out our original story for all the details on this unexpected crossover. In case you don't get the pun: "saru" is the Japanese word for "monkey." Today, just to prove that we weren't lying, we have first screens of the mini game as well as some artwork. View all the goods on the media page for this story. I wouldnt buy it just for that minigame. Especially if its as sh*t as the one in MGS3.

i'm sure it will be more fun than that silly mgs3 mini game. In my opinion, i think they could have done better than mere monkeys getting shot with a stupid gun....and caught...

I like the bannana camo or monkey camo whatever its called, but not enough for me to actually try and get the best times on every level. And its harder with the PAL version because we have heaps more than the USA-NTSC version.
