OK folks, let's get some hardcore gamers into this.
What do you feel are the most revolutionary games of all time, as well as how Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear Solid 1 fit on that list?

Doom. Then later, Halo. Wolfenstein 3-D came before Doom I think, but Doom is what kicked it off.
The Legend of Zelda for sure.

Chrono Trigger and Super Mario Bros. are what you can call true Revolutionary games. Also Street Fighter, it's all about classics, without them, none of the great games you see today would exist.
