Does anyone think that Eva could be Gray Fox's mother? In the end of MGS3, we find out she disappeared in Hanoi, which is in the Republic of Vietnam. Gray Fox was found as an orphaned child in Vietnam by Big Boss...think there's a connection?

1968... hmm... well in the MGS guide it does say he was born in the 1970's. So the theory fits. But I would think that if that was the case there would be some sort of a hint. Do they mention EVA and the name Jaeger anywhere? Now that would be something.
Things that would make things fit would be the fact that Big Boss did hold Frank in high regard. That would make sense for a son of EVA.
It's a good point, but sadly it's all theoretical. The only thing that would make the connection concrete would be the name. If we can connect EVA to the name Jaeger somehow...
This would be something now...
The Boss -> Big Boss -> Solid Snake
The Boss -> Revolver Ocelot
EVA -> Gray Fox
I'm sure that if this was the case in the final timeline they would mention that she had a son name Frank.

Possibly... but for what? I mean, Gray Fox is dead in MGS1. From a perspective of GOTP plot, who cares who his parents were...

Fill up the gaps in the series? If it is hideo's last game, he'll probably want to tie up all the loose ends.
