What do you guys think will happen after Metal Gear Solid 4? Will they continue making games in the main timeline? Will Raiden take over the series (was hinted in one of the gag trailers).
I really wonder, what would the series go into. After seeing MGS3, I really didn't think of anything else, gameplay related, that MG needed. Granted, now Kojima is making the Sense thing in MGS4. But what about after that?
I, for one, hope that the main timeline is left alone. But I can definetly see them poping out an MGS5 with Raiden getting a "badass" makeover. Raiden grows and beared and shaves his head! ;D

Big Boss Trilogy: MGS3:Snake Eater, Metal Gear, MG2:Solid Snake
Solid Snake Trilogy: Metal Gear Solid, MGS2:Sons of Liberty, MGS4:Guns of the Patriots
Raiden Trilogy: Metal Gear Solid 5
I hope Mr. Kojima knows what he's doing. If I were him, I would stop. If he continues after MGS4 it will get to much. His work on Metal Gear is amazing, but he has to stop in his prime. To be honest, I would like to see him continue with Zone Of the Enders.

MG should end with MGS4. But in 10 years time i would love to see the MG series brought back to life WITH kojima.

I thought of that. I think Metal Gear has gone as far as it could on a Console platform, 2D or 3D. So, when gaming evolves to something else, then Metal Gear should resurface.
