If/when they show scenes from MGS1 in MGS4, will they show the PS1 version or the GC version?
I asked this before about MGS3.

Is there any doubt? Naturally it will be the PSone original. With static over image, it will still look good, like in MGS2. I would be pissed off if they put up clips of Twin Snakes. Besides, Kojima will reference his own work, not someone else's.

Wouldn't really mind either way myself, but I don't think they'll need to referance MGS 1 that much except perhaps for Liquid Snake.

Only Liquid? Meryl, Otacon, Solid Snake, and Ocelot (who are in MGS4) have major events in MGS1.

Forgot about Meryl, but for the other 3 you mentioned they could just show shots from MGS2 for them

I doubt you will see flashbacks to MGS or MGS2 in MGS4. I doubt it will be like it was in Sons of Liberty. And I don't see the need. They can just say it, they don't actually have to show it. MGS2 was whored with useless scenes, most of the flashbacks where among them.

I think that we will see scenes from MGS1 or MGS2 that we didn't see before.
