I was just wondering about that line in MGS where Liquid says Big Boss chose him. Just wondering what every one thought about that.
Did he choose him as his apprentice like The Boss/The Joy chose him, or did he choose him to continue the fight against the Patriots.

I think he meant that he chose Liquid to be the inferior one; the one with the bad genes. I havent played the game in a while, but I think thats what he meant.

I don't see it that way. Big Boss chose Liquid to carry on, to follow in his footsteps. There is no doubt chich one of the two is more of a Boss. Snake is not a leader, never has been. Liquid is.

I was just wondering about it when I was reading In the Darkness of Shadow Moses. Liquid knew about the Patriots saying he was coming for them next.
