My MGS4 fiction

I created a fan fiction of my version MGS4 a ways back. But in light of the approaching E3 trailer, and all the hype for MGS4. I just feel like it's pure trash, and I'll just appear to be an amatuer. People on my forum love it, just I'm having doubts about it. I would post it up, but the forum did'nt let me because the size was to large. Unless I was allowed to almost double post five times lol. It's up to you guys. And also it isn't finished as of yet.

This is what I'm talking about, this is a conversation between Otacon and Snake. Otacon speaks of the specifications for the "Solid Suit".

"I also have one more present for you." Otacon walks over and flips a switch on Snake's left wrist. "What the!?" His Solid suit lets out a small current of electricity and the scales of the suit mimic the interior colors of the C-130. "What the? What did you do to this Otacon?" "Heh heh, with all the down time we had, I had a lot of time to work on it and give it a few upgrades. I call this "Smart Camo", unlike the virtually invisible stealth camo. It mimics the surrounding colors and patterns of the area your in for cover, by creating the best camo pattern for blending into a specified area. This doesn’t get knocked offline easily as stealth camo, and the battery takes an extremely long time to go dead, with a lifespan of 48 hours of constant use before a recharge." "Incredible Otacon, seems I have everything I need now." "Yeah, the "Snake" will have skin now. Also Snake, due to the sub-zero temperatures of the artic. Your suit was also laced with the same kind of polithermal material that was in your Sneaking suit on Shadow Moses." "Got it, I guess I'll be sure to be nice and dry."

Well this is the revised version, just part of the prologue. Hope you enjoy this little bit. This won't be the final version, but basically this would be the main idea, I'll have more tomorrow if you would like me to post.

After recieving intelligence that the Big Shell was to be taken over on April 29th and was a camouflage for a secret Metal Gear project. I infiltrated the facility along with Otacon. After many events, meeting the operative "Raiden" under the false command of the dummy Fox Hound unit, we've discovered the secret organization the Patriots. Thier plot was to further their control over the United States civilians, and to regulate digital information, and censor history. My twin brother, ex President George Sears codenamed: Solidus Snake raided the facility with his anti terrorist group Dead Cell, along with Revolver "Shalashaska" Ocelot. Developed a plot to kidnap the current President, Johnson, and steal Arsenal Gear which was developed under the Big Shell as the floating fortress with an army of Metal Gear RAY units that housed this AI system which will regulate digital information as we know it. After Dead Cell was defeated by the young soldier Raiden, we were able to retrieve a secret list of the Patriots actual members from the Arsenal AI which was supposed to be deleted. Raiden was captured by Solidus and Ocelot, the Big Shell was destroyed and Arsenal Gear entered the Atlantic. Raiden was confronted by Solidus and was faced to fight the entire Metal Gear RAY army single handly and defeated them. We were captured by Solidus Snake and Fortune a member of Dead Cell. Ocelot revealed the Big Shell take over was all a well scripted recreation of the Shadow Moses incident. We were all on the verge of being slaughtered by Ocelot, when he was suddenly possed by my undead brother, Liquid Snake... He then fleed in the RAY unit to a location in which he believed to be where the Patriots were. On an emergency ascent cource, the Arsenal Gear proceeded into the New York habor crash landing into Federal Hall. The Arsenal Gear AI revealed to Raiden the entire Big Shell incident was nothing more then a field test of the Selection for Societal Sanity program, also known as the S3. Which is designed to control humans minds and thoughts. After, the battle between father and son began and ended, Raiden defeated his creator, Solidus Snake. We've retreived and viewed the Patriots members list, of twelve men. But appears they have been dead and buried close to hundred years ago in Manhattan. That was the only evidence we ever had on them, and the trail went cold...

During the cource of a few months following the incident, many topics have been raised in the media about the Big Shell incident, and the mysterious ship that destroyed the Big Shell, and crashed into Manhattan island. The vice President, Adams, has come into power, due to the kidnapping and assassination of previous President Johnson byt the terrorists of the Big Shell. The goverment retrieved the destroyed Arsenal Gear from the rubble of Manhattan for repear at a undisclosed location. Stating it was an experimental next generation aircraft carrier, that ex president George Sears along with his group Dead Cell had stolen on a test run. Many skeptics deny that statement, questioning that it may possibly a United States funded Metal Gear variation, tensions in Washington had risen since the Manhattan disaster. Many inditements have come down on the government, and the White House. At the moment, they have proceeded to moving to the supreme court, questioning many members of the Johnson and Sears administration. Rumors have risen that Johnson went willingly with the terrorist's in the Big Shell incident, in aid of a nuclear attack on Nuclear soil. The public has much mistrust in the United States government, Presidential approval is nearly zero, any many riots across the States have enveloped. It seem the S3 program isn't working quite aswell as the Patriots thought. As for the Metal Gear Project itself, Otacon has broken into many military company computer systems, including the Pentagon's mainframe. It seems the Metal Gear project has hit a brick wall, since the RAY army was completely destroyed. It seems the project has been put on hold or plain scrapped. But knowing its the Patriots, their next "Ace in the hole" will emerge in due time...

Well I've got a good start to the fic. I've been a little busy with work but I try to get done as much as I can. As how some of the Solid games have started with a Opening monologue of Snake, I made one for my fanfic, Era of the Genesis.

Conflict and misery have been the ever lasting constants in mankind. Tyrants and dictators have risen and fallen, after thousands opon thousands of peoples of all creeds and colors have been overwhelmed by mass genaside. Times have changed since then, conflicts are created by governments who only fight for self preservation for, fossil fuels, all over greed to gain dominance over another country. And they cover it as spreading "Freedom". While peoples that have nothing to do with the war are faced to watch this boundless slaughter for a war that have nothing to do with. Governments playing god, controlling the fates of people they have never seen before. We have come into the times of new tyrants and warlords, not of murdering millions, but for self righteous greedy goverments. Men in suits who never stepped onto a battlefield, ordering soldiers to murder people. The days of honor and integrity have gone down in flames, the days of American being the nation of "Liberty" are over. And it's all "their" fault. Freedom is nothing more but another form of control, a myth to the peoples of the planet. People are ignorant, not acknowleding the past, present, or future. But past conflicts and history are'nt useless for the future generations, they need to be passed on. They are the memorys and genes for giving birth for a new future, a future of freedom. All one would need is, the will to create it...


And if you notice the last sentence, "Will" is what Era of the Genesis is all about. It's the main theme, like Meme Gene Scene, and Sense. But will play a drastic change in the story.

I hope it don't look like the Guns of the Patriots speech because I didnt get it from there at all. GOTP's is more about war and soldiers, mine is more of the ruin the world has become since the Patriots have been in power.

P.S. this may not be the final version, I usually revise it 5 or so times before its the final thing. And also dont even pay attention to my previous post, that whole part was changed.
