What do all of you think is the reason why he started the first Outer Heaven?
I think it was to take on the Patriots/Philosiphers but it was scene as an act of war against the world or something like that.

Man, do you even play Metal Gear games? And I thought I explained it to you in the News Board:
That was the reason for creating Outer Heaven. Who he planed to take on with it is irrelivant.
You need to get your hands on Subsitence and play MG1 and MG2, then replay Metal Gear Solid.
Now, in Ghost Babel they showed an alternate version for creating Outer Heaven. There it was told that it was a US project to keep US influence in Africa. Big Boss was placed in charge of the project, but he decided to use it for his own goals. Ghost Babel isn't in the same timeline as the other games, but Big Boss's goal seemed to be the same.

So? Most of the important issues are covered in Metal Gear 2 and Metal Gear Solid. Metal Gear 1 had little in terms of plot.

MG2 is an awesome game. It really is the clencher in the series.

The clencher in the MSX era. They put every basic thing needed for an MG game into MG 2. But enough about that. Lock?
